WHAT DOES THE HIGHER EDGE PROMISE SCHOLARSHIP PAY FOR?

  • For the classes of 2019 and beyond: The Higher Edge Promise Scholarship pays for 30 units of class fees at either Grossmont or Cuyamaca Colleges.Asian students working in the library.
  • Higher Edge Promise Scholarships are "last dollar" scholarships, meaning the Higher Edge Promise Scholarship pays for fees after other grants, such as Board of Governors fee waivers and institutional grants have been deducted. Loans are not included in the calculation.

WHERE CAN I USE MY SCHOLARSHIP?

  • Higher Edge Promise Scholarship funds may be used to attend Grossmont or Cuyamaca Colleges.

HOW DO I APPLY?

  • No need to apply. All GUHSD students in the class of 2019 and beyond qualify for a Higher Edge Promise Scholarship as long as all requirements are met.
